End of Week One!!!!

Wow, what a blessing this life application course is. The group is growing, that is Father ordained! I re-thought the blog. We will discuss what God is doing in this weeks lesson in the comments section. Isn't Father amazing!!!! I find as my walk matures with Him I understand Jesus admonition "For those who have ears to hear...." in a better way. An example, until recently I always judged myself as falling short of what I should be. My friend suggested that I was making God out to be a liar because I did not believe He was lavishing His love onto me. And, my friend was right. Since then, my ears have been opened. Sunday, pastor Tim talked about God lavishing His love on us; did you hear him when he said that? On Day 4 of last week look at page 21 and #2 on the side notes. Now that my ears are open, I hear and see that Father lavishes His love on me! It is like when you get a new car, and you notice everyone else has the same car, you notice them everywhere! Once Father takes the blinders off you can NEVER not notice what He wants you to know! Praise HIM!
SOOO, what areas is HE revealing to you? What do you think of the sentences:
"Part of the Book of Genesis is the record of God accomplishing His purposes through Abraham. It is not the record of Abraham's walk with God."? What a difference from our thinking!! What Father gave me from it was, "What am I accomplishing through YOU Ray?"

Ok, let's get the discussion going.

Welcome to the CCV Experiencing God Group

This is our first week!

I will have moderation turned on to reveiw questions or comments. All will be published that pertain to this group unless:

A: It is personal in nature and the writer asks that it remain unpublished;
B: It is not germane to this topic;
C: It is profane in nature. (This IS a public blog and people do find them that may not have the best interest of the group in mind.)

Well the first group meeting went rather well, we got to know one another more personally, which can be challenging and rewarding as well. I think we all can agree for this to work we have to come to it with a mindset of hearing with not only our ear, but our understanding as well. We also need to understand each others needs and desired outcomes to bring to our Father daily. We also have to accept accountability in order to grow more spiritually, the "iron sharpens iron" analogy fits here.

I am looking forward to hearing from you and to our class this Sunday, the Lord willing!

God Bless,
Ray
